When I grew up it was quite a challenge to find free pdf sewing patterns online. My first pdf pattern came from the community space on the Burda style website in the United States. Today I am glad that there are so many websites that offer their patterns for free but sometimes it is hard to find free stylish patterns. That why I want to share with you my top spaces to find free pdf patterns online.
Common free pdf sewing pattern pages
Internationally Mood offers the most popular free sewing patterns. They have a broad range of styles, and they are pretty on trend. What I noticed when sewing their patterns as a person who uses the metric system is that you need to check your measurements twice.
Then there is Peppermint magazine from Australia. I love the playfulness of their design and over the years they have grown such a large variety of lovely free sewing patterns.
Grasser patterns is another sewing pattern label and they offer a variety of very classy free sewing patterns besides their paid collection. In my opinion their designs are next level and they always try to keep up with the runways.
If you aren’t bothered to get a pattern in another language I can also recommend Initiative Handarbeit from Germany. They are an association that is backed by the largest handicraft businesses worldwide and offer their entire collection for free. You can find everything from knitting patterns, sewing patterns to crochet patterns and I seriously love them.

On Damoire you can also find a range of free sewing patterns that will grow over time. For me it is important to offer some patterns for free because I want to inspire more people to give it a try and make high quality clothing that fits.
Tammy handmade is a British indie pattern label and she offers patterns that are very good for beginners. Her Etty camisole top is a free pattern that she offers on her website.
Make it yours the label is also offering some of her patterns for free. Maria is German but lives in Dubai and offers her patterns in German and English. The DIY Crop top, shorts and the jersey dress you can download for free.
